The Hotel Nicholas has two bed and breakfast suites decorated in the Art Deco style. Both rooms have an ensuite, electric blankets, TV/DVD player, central heating/airconditioning, tea and coffee making facilities, access to a private balcony and the upstairs Art Deco Parlour. Children are welcome and a porta cot, high chair and stroller are provided. One room has a queen bed, a single bed and room for a folding roll away bed and is therefore suitable as a family room and the second room has a king bed which can be divided creating two singles beds.

The Hibernian Hotel is located in the centre of Beechworth100m from the Post Office.  It is family venue offering lunch and dinner seven days a week. Our menu offers traditional hotel food along with modern choices. We specialise in local wines, produce and a range of local and imported beers, tap beer is also available. The hotel has been renovated and offers clean, modern open spaces for you to enjoy. We can cater for a range of events, for any size group up to 120.

Accommodation : Our seven spacious accommodation apartments are well appointed all with queen size beds. We have three family apartments one on the ground floor and two by two storey, each with two bedrooms and a separate bathroom.  There are four double apartments one on the second floor and the remaining on the ground floor. All our apartments have a kitchenette including microwave, fridge, tea & coffee and toast making facilities. You will also find heating, air-conditioning, telephone, television, DVD player, hair dryer, internet access and off street car parking. Our tariffs include a continental breakfast.

The brewery features an open fire for the winter and a large beer garden and kids play area for the warmer months. Visit the brewery and sample from up to 10 different award winning ales and cider. Co-owner Maria Frischmann brings her creative flair from the heart of Austria to the kitchen, baking the best pretzles this side of Munich and an extensive lunch menu. Tanswell’s Hotel is Beechworth’s oldest surviving hotel, dating back to 1852, originally built after gold was discovered. In 1871 Thomas Tanswell, a convict transported to Australia in 1833, added a second level to the hotel and dubbed it “Tanswells Commercial Hotel”. Gigi's of Beechworth is an award winning, modern Italian restaurant located in Beechworth's main street, Ford Street. We are trading for a la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner 5 days per week. We are closed Sunday evening, Wednesday and Thursday . We offer a fully licensed wine list spanning local and imported wines including a Giaconda cellar list back to 1994. The menu offers the freshest local and seasonal produce including our own house made sourdough, pasta and freshly roasted espresso coffee.

A southern Italian theme stems the menu but can easily take on French and Spanish influence. We site 40 in the main dining room and offer a private room of up to 20, including an outdoor courtyard.
