Freeman on Ford Bed & Breakfast is the first and only 5 star accommodation rated by the RACV in Beechworth. The B&B has also been awarded a Green Star rating from AAA Tourism which recognises environmentally conscious businesses that have policies in place which are sympathetic to the earth’s sustainability for future generations.

The B&B is a former Victorian Oriental Bank and Convent (circa 1876) that has been lovingly restored to accommodate guests who wish to experience luxury accommodation in the heart of town. We supply luxurious linen, TV, DVD and coffee/tea making facilities in each room together with a bar fridge and an ambiance which cannot be replicated. We offer exquisite accommodation in an historical setting.

Freeman on Ford has welcomed the Minister of Tourism, Tim Holding to their premise (July 2007) and has been filmed by the Wine Me, Dine Me show. The Hotel Nicholas has two bed and breakfast suites decorated in the Art Deco style. Both rooms have an ensuite, electric blankets, TV/DVD player, central heating/airconditioning, tea and coffee making facilities, access to a private balcony and the upstairs Art Deco Parlour. Children are welcome and a porta cot, high chair and stroller are provided. One room has a queen bed, a single bed and room for a folding roll away bed and is therefore suitable as a family room and the second room has a king bed which can be divided creating two singles beds.

Many fabulous backdrops for photographs are to be found on the property and in close proximity to it.

At The Old Priory we feature a fully licensed function room which seats 100 to 130 people.  We also have a range of other meeting rooms available and facilities include OHP, VCR, Whiteboard, Tea and Coffee Stand,  etc.
