Beechworth has a rich and lively history, much of which is reflected in its spectacular architectural heritage. It’s great to see this heritage form the basis of Carole O’Neill’s new book, Ride Through Time.


In the book, engagingly illustrated by Liz Main, the character of Lucy sets out journey of discovery, encountering the rich past of the one of Victoria’s finest tourist gems: the town of Beechworth.


It’s great to see a text that aims to enhance young people’s appreciation and understanding of their surroundings, but it’s also great to see it done so beautifully.


I’m pleased to offer my warm congratulations to Carole on the occasion of the launch of Ride Through Time.
